What if there was mad science in fields you don’t usually think about it in, like, other than plain old biology or genetics
- Acoustics: We’re gonna play loud music into the ocean whether you like it or not.
- Anthropology: Ok so, starting out with the assumption that aliens built these old native structures (a stretch, I know), we were looking around and we found aliens. Then we just kinda started hanging out with them and studying them and we learned the weirdest tricks
- Astronomy: We were just messing around trying to discover a faster way to identify what a planet is made of and we figured out how to read people’s metaphysical auras,

Oh my god, what would be so cool is if there was this game where everything was a spoiler
Like, there’s this hero—let’s call him Leek—and he’s just trying to go through his story normally when a malicious “Lord Sensorius” interferes and starts preventing him from gaining access to like anything
He finds some kind of hint? Sensorius pops up and is like NO THAT’S A SPOILER
A cutscene starts? NO SPOILERS, LEEK!
Leek tries to talk to some critical NPC? LEEK, SHEESH, SPOILERS
He’s allowed to like walk around and explore the world but so many things you can typically do in an RPG or whatever his genre is (probably very similar to an RPG at least) are blocked off because Lord Sensorius and his various minions keep interfering,

Fantasy elements like water and fire and air and lightning and ice are so completely and utterly overused
We need new more interesting fantasy elements like cement and silicon and microbe and synergy and slime and radioactivity and electromagnetic waves and thought and spacedust and disorder and myth and science and romanticism and abstract minimalism and mathematics and love and hatred and transformation and force and lassitude and prehistoric and cyberpunk and beneficial mutation and agility and music and blood and armour and hierarchy and spectrum and indistinction and paranormal and paranoid delusion
We need to like just replace standard fantasy elements with a shitton of different aesthetics and keep using them like elements
“My life bar’s on his lunch break, you can’t kill me right now”
Ok but how weird and creative would it be if like every single 4th-wall thing in a game was a living character and you could basically choose between different HUD/control/menu thingies to follow you around but you could only have so many for whatever reason and both having and leaving behind each one would have advantages and disadvantages
Like, you could leave behind your HP guy and not know your exact health (there would probably be an approximate way to manually check regardless) but every time you die you don’t lose stuff or your position like you otherwise would because he eats it when he resurrects you
Or you could leave behind the party screen dude in order to have more gaugethings in your party and have to manage them in a less-convenient way because he has a limit to what he can keep track of
If you had the bag thingy it might slow down the entire party if it had to carry too much but of course you wouldn’t have a centralised inventory without it and you and/or everybody else would have to use their probably limited space to carry stuff
You could have a radar creature that shows enemies approaching but every time she does her echolocation thing certain types of enemies hear it and they home on you better
It would have to be better planned-out than this so it could actually be like a balanced game that would be interesting and challenging but god
Earlier today I had this really stupid and silly thought
What if in a fantasy universe the internet was literally made out of magic and you could like control it in the air in front of you and bookmark spells and download familiars and things from this app-store-like repository thing but it shoved a stupid “rate your experience” questionnaire in your face
And like enchantment type things were like browser extensions that you could just add and remove and enable/disable and you could customise your appearance with CSS
I don’t even want to think about what maginet advertisements would be like… :p
Haha I almost want to make this into an actual story thing. Idk what the central stuff of it like plot and stuff would be though.
You know another cool thing would be to unify this with that dinky little one-off “projectorpet” project idea I’d had a while back so Wyvera and her master plus this open-source projectorpet place that was a central thing in it are both a part of it.
